37  But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being ^aRomans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.

  27  This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a ^cRoman.
