13  These things have I ^awritten unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

  4  That thou mightest ^aknow the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.

  7  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might ^cbelieve.

  4  For the fulness of mine intent is that I may ^apersuade men to come unto the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, and be saved.

  14  And behold, they shall go unto the unbelieving of the Jews; and for this intent shall they go—that they may be ^cpersuaded that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God; that the Father may bring about, through his most Beloved, his great and eternal purpose, in restoring the Jews, or all the house of Israel, to the land of their inheritance, which the Lord their God hath given them, unto the fulfilling of his covenant;

  24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting ^blife, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
