6  And they gathered together to Mizpeh, and drew water, and poured it out before the Lord, and fasted on that day, and said there, We have ^asinned against the Lord. And Samuel judged the children of Israel in Mizpeh.

  5  We have ^asinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:

  4  For he said: Thou art merciful, O God, for thou hast heard my prayer, even when I was ^ain the wilderness; yea, thou wast merciful when I prayed concerning those who were mine enemies, and thou didst turn them to me.
