12  Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to ^bserve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

  4  And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us ^areturn into Egypt.

  16  But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the Lord hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth ^breturn no more that way.
