24  And my ^awrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

  24  But they hardened their hearts and could not endure his presence; therefore, the Lord in his ^cwrath, for his anger was kindled against them, swore that they should not enter into his rest while in the wilderness, which rest is the fulness of his glory.

  14  Let me alone, that I may ^adestroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.

  19  For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to ^adestroy you. But the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also.

  23  Therefore he said that he would ^adestroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

  12  I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater ^anation and mightier than they.
