11  And the Lord said unto me, Arise, take thy ^ajourney before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.

  7  And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, ^aUnto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.

  6  But I, Abraham, and Lot, my brother's son, prayed unto the Lord, and the Lord appeared unto me, and said unto me: Arise, and take Lot with thee; for I have purposed to take thee away out of Haran, and to make of thee a minister to bear my name in a strange ^dland which I will give unto thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession, when they hearken to my voice.
