19  And he called the name of that place ^aBeth-el: but the name of that city was called Luz at the first.

  2  And goeth out from ^aBeth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

  2  And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to ^bBeth-el. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth-el.

  3  And he went on his journeys from the south even to ^aBeth-el, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beth-el and Hai;

  20  And I, Abraham, arose from the place of the altar which I had built unto the Lord, and removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched my tent there, Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east; and there I built another altar unto the Lord, and ^dcalled again upon the name of the Lord.

  15  And my father dwelt in a ^atent.
