17  That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy ^aseed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

  30  ^aAbraham received promises concerning his seed, and of the fruit of his loins—from whose loins ye are, namely, my servant Joseph—which were to continue so long as they were in the world; and as touching Abraham and his seed, out of the world they should continue; both in the world and out of the world should they continue as innumerable as the stars; or, if ye were to count the sand upon the seashore ye could not number them.

  10  And I will bless them through thy name; for as many as receive this Gospel shall be called after thy name, and shall be accounted thy ^dseed, and shall rise up and bless thee, as their father;

  14  And it was in the night time when the Lord spake these words unto me: I will multiply thee, and thy ^bseed after thee, like unto these; and if thou canst count the number of sands, so shall be the number of thy seeds.

  8  And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be ^bnumbered nor counted for multitude.

  10  The hills were ^acovered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
