17  Now my father, Lehi, had said many things unto them, and also unto the sons of Ishmael; but, behold, they did breathe out much threatenings against anyone that should speak for me; and my parents being ^bstricken in years, and having suffered much grief because of their children, they were brought down, yea, even upon their sick-beds.

  9  Now, because Gideon withstood him with the words of God he was wroth with Gideon, and drew his sword and began to smite him. Now Gideon being ^astricken with many years, therefore he was not able to withstand his blows, therefore he was slain by the sword.

  2  Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and ^dblessed him, and increased him.

  10  Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good ^cthings in possession.
