8  And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of ^aBeth-el, and pitched his tent, having Beth-el on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord.

  2  And goeth out from ^aBeth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

  2  And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to ^bBeth-el. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth-el.

  20  And I, Abraham, arose from the place of the altar which I had built unto the Lord, and removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of ^aBethel, and pitched my tent there, Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east; and there I built another altar unto the Lord, and called again upon the name of the Lord.

  6  So Jacob came to ^aLuz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Beth-el, he and all the people that were with him.

  3  And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at ^cLuz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,
