Genesis 3:24  
 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden aCherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the btree of life.

  9  And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the ctree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

  5  For behold, if Adam had put forth his hand immediately, and partaken of the btree of life, he would have lived forever, according to the word of God, having no space for repentance; yea, and also the word of God would have been void, and the great plan of salvation would have been frustrated.
