23  And I did read many things unto them which were written in the books of Moses; but that I might more fully persuade them to believe in the Lord their Redeemer I did read unto them that which was written by the prophet ^bIsaiah; for I did liken all scriptures unto us, that it might be for our profit and learning.

  1  And now, behold, I say unto you, that ye ought to search these things. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search these things diligently; for great are the words of ^bIsaiah.

  13  Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of ^aUzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

  1  The word of the Lord that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of ^aUzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

  30  And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of ^aJotham the son of Uzziah.

  38  And ^aJotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

  1  The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of ^bJotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

  20  And ^aAhaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.

  42  And ^aIsaiah, who declared by prophecy that the Redeemer was anointed to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that were bound, were also there.
