16  Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little ^asanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

  44  ^aAnd whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

  34  And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the ^bfall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

  32  Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they ^bstumbled at that stumblingstone;

  6  And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be ^aoffended in me.

  10  And then shall many be ^aoffended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

  22  Let their table become a ^asnare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

  14  And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of ^bstumbling, and for a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

  15  And now I, Jacob, am led on by the Spirit unto prophesying; for I perceive by the workings of the Spirit which is in me, that by the ^astumbling of the Jews they will reject the stone upon which they might build and have safe foundation.
