11  Now also many nations are ^agathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.

  8  Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is ^ato gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

  16  For by fire and by his sword will the Lord ^cplead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

  31  A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will ^bplead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord.

  22  And I will ^aplead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

  25  Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine ^binheritance.
