Judges 2:16  
 16 Nevertheless the Lord raised up ajudges, which bdelivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them.

  1  Now it came to pass in the days when the ajudges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Beth-lehem-judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

  11  And as since the time that I commanded ajudges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the Lord telleth thee that he will make thee an house.

  41  And it came to pass that they did appoint bjudges to rule over them, or to judge them according to the law; and this they did throughout all the land.
