Lamentations 2:1  
How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his afootstool in the day of his anger!

  2  Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the bfootstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:

  39  He ruleth high in the heavens, for it is his throne, and this earth is his afootstool.

  17  And I have made the earth rich, and behold it is my afootstool, wherefore, again I will stand upon it.

  7  For I am the Lord thy God; I dwell in heaven; the earth is my bfootstool; I stretch my hand over the sea, and it obeys my voice; I cause the wind and the fire to be my chariot; I say to the mountains—Depart hence—and behold, they are taken away by a whirlwind, in an instant, suddenly.
