15  But thou, O ^aLord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

  16  And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being ^amerciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

  5  For thus saith the Lord—I, the Lord, am ^amerciful and gracious unto those who fear me, and delight to honor those who serve me in righteousness and in truth unto the end.
