2  And he ^asaw God face to face, and he talked with him, and the glory of God was upon Moses; therefore Moses could endure his presence.

  36  And he beheld the spirits that God had created; and he beheld also things which were not visible to the ^bnatural eye; and from thenceforth came the saying abroad in the land: A seer hath the Lord raised up unto his people.

  31  And behold, the glory of the Lord was upon Moses, so that Moses stood in the presence of God, and talked with him ^aface to face. And the Lord God said unto Moses: For mine own purpose have I made these things. Here is wisdom and it remaineth in me.

  20  And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for ^bthere shall no man see me, and live.

  10  And again, verily I say unto you that it is your privilege, and a promise I give unto you that have been ordained unto this ministry, that inasmuch as you strip yourselves from jealousies and fears, and humble yourselves before me, for ye are not sufficiently humble, the veil shall be rent and you shall ^gsee me and know that I am—not with the carnal neither natural mind, but with the spiritual.

  21  And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them ^bperish.

  11  For no ^aman has seen God at any time in the flesh, except quickened by the Spirit of God.

  19  And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God ^aspeak with us, lest we die.

  30  And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God ^cface to face, and my life is preserved.

  4  And I saw the Lord; and he stood before my face, and he talked with me, even as a man talketh one with another, ^bface to face; and he said unto me: Look, and I will show unto thee the world for the space of many generations.

  2  And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

  1  The heavens were opened upon us, and I beheld the celestial kingdom of God, and the glory thereof, whether in the ^dbody or out I cannot tell.
