9  And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with ^cstocks.

  17  I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the ^bback, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

  33  And they have turned unto me the ^aback, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

  16  And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their ^cbacks toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

  24  Yea, and it shall come to pass that when they shall cry unto me I will be ^bslow to hear their cries; yea, and I will suffer them that they be smitten by their enemies.

  7  They were slow to ^ahearken unto the voice of the Lord their God; therefore, the Lord their God is slow to hearken unto their prayers, to answer them in the day of their trouble.
